Success Stories

The relationships I’ve built with my clients are at the core of everything I do. Watching individuals grow stronger, healthier, more confident, and capable — both physically and mentally — is what fuels my passion for coaching.

I take pride in creating an environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their highest potential. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing clients accomplish goals they once thought were out of reach. From first workouts to life-changing transformations, every journey matters to me.

My clients are more than just clients — they are part of the JLT ELITE community and a meaningful part of my life. The relationships built through coaching and being part of each person’s journey as they gain confidence, overcome obstacles, improve their health, and discover what they are truly capable of, is why I love what I do.

Every success story represents commitment, trust, consistency, and hard work, and I am incredibly grateful to play a role in helping each client become the strongest version of themselves.

At 21 years old, I had never stepped foot in a gym and was completely intimidated to start. I did not know the first thing about working out or strength training. Jenna changed that. She broke everything down to the basics and helped build my confidence, not only as someone learning the gym, but as a person.

More than that, I gained a friend and someone I could always count on to brighten my day (even during 6:00 a.m. burpee sessions).

5 years later, I still find myself going back to the lessons Jenna taught me. Training with her was one of, if not the best investment I have ever made in myself.

Working with Jenna has completely changed my approach to fitness. She is knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely invested in her clients’ success. Since training with her, I’ve become stronger, more confident, and much more consistent with my health goals.

I used Jenna as my personal trainer for three years.  I was always impressed with her professionalism, positive attitude and knowledge of fitness and training.  She also had a good deal of comprehension of how the body responds to fitness; if she didn’t have an answer to a question I posed she would research and have an answer at my next session.  Jenna was always supportive, great at motivating and created workouts that fit my personal goals and fitness level.  I felt Jenna cared about me and made my workouts effective and enjoyable while always being very reliable and encouraging.

It was with great sadness to see her move from my area; I not only lost my trainer but also someone who had become a friend; we remain in touch.

I worked with Jenna during my last year of university at a time where I felt intimidated going to the gym on my own and wanted help learning how to train properly and grow my glutes. From the very first session she was extremely personable and made the gym feel less overwhelming, which made me look forward to it.

Jenna had a way of explaining things that made everything click for me. I quickly understood what I was supposed to be feeling in each movement and why. She pushed me in ways I did not think I was ready for, but hearing her say I could pushed me to do it. I would leave sessions proud of what I had lifted, which really motivated me.

What stood out most though was how much she actually cared. She would check in after sessions, ask if I had any pain and even helped me with nutrition when I had questions. It always felt like she went above and beyond.

Even now years later I still carry so much of what she taught me about form, consistency and showing up. I am really grateful for her and the confidence she helped me build.

I cannot express how lucky and grateful I am to have found Jenna. She helped me regain the strength, confidence, and movement I had in my late 20s and early 30s.

After moving from Australia to Vancouver, I found myself facing an unexpected challenge — I wasn’t physically strong enough to safely lift my 35kg bulldog by myself, who has arthritis and isn’t exactly cooperative when being picked up.

Over the years, I’ve sustained many injuries resulting in severe cervical disc degeneration, arthritis, as well as thoracic and lumbar bulging discs. While I’d always been active in different ways over the years — fitness classes, half marathons, Tough Mudder events, yoga, reformer Pilates, and boot camps— I kept running into the same problem. Every time I tried to progress with heavier weights, my back or neck would flare up, and I’d end up back at square one. I was seeing a sport physio, chiropractor, and massage therapist, but nothing really changed; add in early menopause, hormonal weight gain, and feeling completely defeated, I knew I needed a serious change.

After a disappointing experience with another PT company, I found Jenna and asked her one question: “With everything going on, can you help me?” She reviewed all my scans, took the time to understand my history, and told me honestly, yes — but we needed to rebuild the foundation first. At first, I was frustrated when she dropped all my weights back dramatically. I kept insisting I could lift heavier, but she explained that strength meant nothing without proper movement, core stability, and glute engagement. So we started from the beginning; mobility and functional movement work.

What began as three sessions a week quickly became 5 a.m. starts, five days a week. Jenna even started an hour earlier than her normal shift so I could stay consistent before work. Piece by piece, she helped rebuild my body. The constant burning in my lower back disappeared. My mid and upper back finally released after years of tension. By the time I moved to Tucson, I could easily pick up and carry my bulldog down a huge flight of stairs without pain or hesitation. I was confident in an emergency I could get him help safely.

But the biggest thing Jenna gave me wasn’t physical strength — it was confidence. She helped me like myself again and move without fear or pain. She always met me where I was on the day; if I needed mobility and recovery, we adapted; if I was struggling mentally, she supported me through it. I also opened up to her about my history with disordered eating, and she helped me build a healthier relationship with nutrition while still supporting my goals.

Jenna is far more than a PT, and although she still trains and supports me virtually, I miss her so much. She genuinely changed my life, and I’ll always be incredibly grateful for her support, knowledge, patience, and belief in me. In a new city feeling very lost, she was my anchor, my reason to get up, and my happy place. Oh, and my boyfriend strongly approves of “Glutes by Jen” and thanks her every time I walk away from him 🤣
